KRC is committed to staying abreast of new provincial Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and policies and how it impacts our staff, clients, and our community. At this time we are revitalizing our best practices daily regarding COVID-19 health and safety procedures to enhance staff and guest experiences.
KRC is at the forefront of the BC River Outfitters Association (BCROA) and is working to orchestrate significant safety changes to river operations during each phase of lifted restrictions.
COVID-19: What KRC can Offer
Expected Open Date: June 1st, 2020
Our self-guided rental program is the best activity choice to help reduce the risk of physical contact during this time. Rentals are available on a daily basis but will be limited to standardized pick-up and drop-off times.
KRC will be open for physically distanced tours. Our tours are limited to groups and pods of groups that have traveled together for select departures. We are able to provide tours on the St. Marys River which include; The St. Mary’s Express tour, The Hoot Float Trip, and Inflatable Kayak tour.
Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, our Extreme White Water and Wilderness White Water tour is proponed until further notice.
The KRC cancellation policy for 2020 has been updated to guarantee 100% refund for COVID-19 related cancellations administered by KRC staff, KRC guests, and as a response to closures ordered by the Ministry of Health.
