You surely have heard about the drought conditions affecting Western Canada-and Kimberley’s Purcell Mountains are no exception. The lower water levels have changed the character of the raft trips to be more mellow, but still lots of fun. In anticipation of the lower water levels for August, here at KRC we ordered an additional 3 inflatable kayaks to accompany our “St Mary’s Express” Raft trips. This brings our total spots up to 18 Kayak Rafters per trip.

We highly encourage guests that only want a half day experience, to choose the Kayak Rafting. The lower and warmer water of 2015 makes this guided tour very accessible, and some might say more fun that the rafts this year. If you are between the ages of 16 and 56, you should consider giving this boats a try-they are a blast!
