Marysville Falls* 15 min from the trailhead

Park at the Marysville Eco park. Cross the highway to the wooden bridge and walk along the mostly boardwalk trail that follows Mark Creek. You will be rewarded with a gorgeous waterfall that you won’t believe is so close to town!

Cherry Creek Falls * 15 min from the trailhead

Park at the Cherry Creek Regional Park in Meadowbrook. Follow the loop trail to the right. You will be on a wide trail leading on a very modest downward grade towards the falls. Falls can be seen from several fenced viewing points.

Eimers Lake 

Park at the Higgins St entrance for the Kimberley Nature Park. Walk along the Eimers road trail until you meet the Eimers lake loop. 2 km hike in total. The lake is home to many animals and is great for wildlife viewing.

Elizabeth Lake

Park at the Cranbrook visitor centre off of Hwy 95, across from Jim Smith Road. There are several short, flat trail options along the lake shore, and ample opportunities to see local birds. Lovely shaded trails for hot days.

Idlewild Lake

Park at 34th Ave and 9th St S, the area is well signed. There are several nice nature trails through the trees and meadows in this corner of Cranbrook. The paved trail around the Lake is lovely, and features several docks and stopping points. There are lots of local birds to see. The sunsets here are amazing!
